How can you tell the difference between a real and fake fendi belt?

How can you tell the difference?|||http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/1970鈥?/a> and the price is 拢153 (so how can the eBay one sell it, even if it's second hand for such an unbelievably low price of AUD60?!

Just like telling the difference between authentic and knock-off Fendi bags, belts too have detailed decoration.

The quality of the brass or metal they use... the screws (if there are any, all of the lines in the middle of all the screws should be aligned the same way, not in different positions)... the stitches must be the same length, same direction and neat. Every angle of the belt should spell quality and expensive.

Fendi also has a reputation of putting tiny well-sewn FENDI words on their products in the most unusual places. This makes counterfeiting difficult.

A guarantee of getting authentic belts are of course from the Fendi stores itself but if you're buying second hand online, be extra cautious and ask for additional close-up photographs of the belt from different angles.|||quality|||You can tell its fake by the buckle google a pic of a real Fendi belt The buckle has only one Zucca (the Fendi double F sign that Lagerfeld so brilliantly made), whereas on the fake the whole buckle is filled with Zucca's. There should also be a genuine fendi tag on the belt.

The belt you posted is a fake! dont buy it, i wouldnt trust any name brand thing on ebay anyway. but look at all the fendi signs on the buckle, the real belts only have one of those fendi signs heres a pic

Maybe you have to check if the leather is soft/ a bit rough and see the stitching(if there is) to tell if it's real or fake.|||usually only the most popular pieces of the brand are counterfitting so if you want to buy something real that looks real then you would buy one of the more rare and obscure belts by fendi. there is no one way to "tell." but often times if it worn by someone whose other clothing is inexpensive or they give away other clues that they are of a lower socioeconomic background it is clear the person did not invest 180 dollars plus on their belts. Also, the attention to detail and the quality of the materials and the craftmanship is of only the highest standards by fendi. so if you see the belt looking cheaply made or falling apart, one will assume it is not real.|||I would say fake. The stitching looks cheap, and I've never seen Fendi use patent leather. I see you were looking at eBay, I would ask the seller where they purchased it, what the model name is, and what year was it made. From there you can research it.
